Startup Accelerator offers Data & AI consultants a kickstart to becoming independent, freelance consultants.
The company has helped professionals in DataOps, MLOps, and GitOps find consultancy projects since 2014 at notable companies such as Heineken, KLM, ING, Vattenfall, and Randstad Group.
Every project is carefully selected based on its technical challenge, the team's expertise, and a mutual fit.
The role involves connecting you with your first project at a company of your choice and guiding you through every step of establishing your freelance consultancy career before ending your current employment contract.
Instead of a fixed salary, you can earn 75% of the hourly rate, which is around €10,000 per month, depending on your ideal work-life balance and preferred freelancing method.
There are two ways of freelancing offered: one with all the risks of starting your own company and one without risks, being a contractor on the company's payroll with all secondary benefits.
After one year, you will be ready to operate independently without Startup Accelerator.
The Data Engineering projects involve robotics and sustainability, generating both batch and streaming data from various data sources and products.
You will work within a Data & AI Competence Centre alongside Data Scientists, MLOps Engineers, Cloud/Platform Engineers, and other Data Engineers.
Responsibilities include transforming or rebuilding existing products into more data-driven solutions and further developing the data platform with advanced data-driven technologies, such as large language models (LLMs).
You will also be involved in defining numerous new use cases to drive innovation within the company.
Requirements:
You must be interested in freelancing as described in the job posting.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Data Engineer is required.
You should be able to speak Dutch, even if it's at a basic level.
