The company is looking for a Senior Data Modeller to join their Sofia-based Analytics Team, which was established in 2007 and is expanding to support the North America Business.
The Senior Data Modeller will develop and validate analytical solutions for diverse clients, including ad hoc data analysis and the development of statistical models for predicting consumer behavior.
Responsibilities include data extraction and processing, managing credit risk models, evaluating model performance, producing ad-hoc analysis, working on proof-of-concept projects, overseeing junior team members, and identifying automation opportunities.
Requirements:
A degree (BSc level) in a numerical discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or Physics is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of working knowledge in Python, including familiarity with analytical packages like Pandas, Numpy, and scikit-learn.
An understanding of analytical approaches, including regression analysis and machine learning, is essential.
A grasp of probability, statistical inference, optimization algorithms, linear algebra, and calculus is necessary.
Candidates should be adept at identifying problems and proposing solutions quickly.
Experience with BI Tools such as Tableau and Power BI is considered an advantage.
Fluency in English is required.
