  • The company is looking for a Senior Data Modeller to join their Sofia-based Analytics Team, which was established in 2007 and is expanding to support the North America Business.
  • The Senior Data Modeller will develop and validate analytical solutions for diverse clients, including ad hoc data analysis and the development of statistical models for predicting consumer behavior.
  • Responsibilities include data extraction and processing, managing credit risk models, evaluating model performance, producing ad-hoc analysis, working on proof-of-concept projects, overseeing junior team members, and identifying automation opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A degree (BSc level) in a numerical discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or Physics is required.
  • Candidates must have 3+ years of working knowledge in Python, including familiarity with analytical packages like Pandas, Numpy, and scikit-learn.
  • An understanding of analytical approaches, including regression analysis and machine learning, is essential.
  • A grasp of probability, statistical inference, optimization algorithms, linear algebra, and calculus is necessary.
  • Candidates should be adept at identifying problems and proposing solutions quickly.
  • Experience with BI Tools such as Tableau and Power BI is considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required.
