Analytica is seeking a remote Senior Data Scientist specializing in GenAI to support long-term federal client engagements in financial regulatory or health projects in the DC Metro area.
The role involves applying statistical programming, modeling, visualization techniques, data mining, and forecasting skills to analyze challenging public sector problems.
Responsibilities include pre-processing data, feature engineering, modeling, validation, and visualization of results.
Candidates will demonstrate skills in collecting, cleaning, and preparing data sets using technologies such as Python, and will explain various pre-processing methods.
Experience with NLP feature engineering methods and selecting modeling techniques to fit business problems is required.
Candidates should have experience in presenting modeling results and insights relevant to organizational challenges.
Requirements:
A Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a similar field is highly preferred.
5-10 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role is required.
A high degree of experience utilizing Python for NLP use cases such as Document Summarization, Named Entity Recognition, Sentiment Analysis, and Topic Modeling is necessary.
Experience working in a cloud environment and hands-on experience with AWS is required.
Some competency with computer vision is required.
Experience with multi-modal GenAI/LLMs and prompt engineering techniques is necessary.
At least four years of experience developing scalable, production-ready NLP solutions using libraries such as sci-kit learn, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Spark NLP is preferred.
Experience leveraging transformer architecture to develop NLP models is required.
Familiarity with open-source NLP packages such as Gensim, SpaCy, or NLTK is necessary.
Familiarity with Databricks is required.
Experience with transformer models like BERT, GPT-J, RoBERTa, T5, or others is necessary.
Candidates must have experience presenting findings to executive leadership or mid-level management.
Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public trust security clearance.
