The Senior Data Scientist will manage tests for specific merchants and generate data for case studies and go-to-market messaging strategies.
The role includes driving portfolio-wide revenue optimization and communicating personalized optimization strategies to merchants based on testing results.
The candidate will work with the Risk & Insurance team to build analytics and machine learning models for risk forecasting.
The position involves creating platform analytics to confirm product operation and developing processes to optimize warranty mapping operations, pricing, and merchant attach rates.
Exploratory data analysis will be performed to assemble metrics and KPIs to assess activity across the Extend platform and support teams with analyses and process improvements.
The role requires collaboration with data engineering and product teams to ensure proper data tracking and support debugging and development of new ETL processes.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field is required.
The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in analytics, management consulting, finance, or strategic operations, or a closely related position.
Experience in programming languages including Python and R is essential.
The candidate must be able to perform data analysis to assemble metrics and assess KPIs.
The position can be performed remotely anywhere in the U.S.
