Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 6+ years of relevant work experience as a data scientist or machine learning engineer, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with time-series data from multi-axis accelerometers, gyroscopes, or similar MEMS sensors is required, preferably in the consumer wearable or biomechanics space.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and experience with scientific/ML libraries is necessary, along with the ability to build robust, scalable, production-ready code.
  • Strong experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is essential.
  • Candidates should have expert-level proficiency in SQL and data wrangling, and be comfortable maintaining data pipelines for developed features.
  • A deep understanding of experimental design, causal inference, and validation methodologies for ML-powered product features is required.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end development using AWS or a similar cloud service is preferred.
  • Experience working with international and distributed teams is necessary.
  • Prior experience in the athletic performance technology space is a plus.
