The Senior Data Systems Analyst is responsible for leading the onboarding of electronic data trading partners and ensuring the success of trading partner implementations.
This role monitors client data submissions and communicates with clients to resolve data quality issues.
The analyst works with partners to guide and assist in creating a data feed according to defined specifications.
Proactive communication with trading partners and clients is essential to expedite their onboarding process.
The analyst communicates directly with customers regarding their data needs and key deadlines.
They research and identify data quality issues reported by trading partners or found through new file submissions, working with clients to create resolutions.
The analyst fields ongoing partner requests and questions regarding data specifications.
They review files received for compliance with data needs, including testing files and identifying necessary business rules for the mapping tool.
The analyst configures the mapping tool to support translation from source data to the desired format, including testing the tool and providing clear documentation to internal resources and customers.
They analyze and communicate trading partner performance in meeting data specifications in a timely and effective manner.
Acting as a resident expert for data requirements and specifications, the analyst communicates data needs to trading partners both initially and after file receipt.
They research, coordinate, and execute the transfer of new data feeds or corrections with clients to maintain continuity and service levels.
The analyst remains informed about ongoing changes and evolution of data specifications.
They lead client and partner web-based training sessions regarding data specifications and requirements.
The analyst performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or 8+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience with ETL, analytic-based, data-driven processes, SSIS, and the Microsoft BI stack is necessary.
Experience with healthcare and/or pharmacy data is preferred.
Previous client-facing experience is required.
The candidate must be extremely responsive and able to work under pressure in crisis situations with a strong sense of urgency.
