Remote Senior Data Systems Engineer - BI

Description:

• Vistrada is seeking highly motivated candidates for the position of Senior Data Systems Engineer to join the Business Intelligence team.
• The role involves supporting multiple clients by providing technical leadership and addressing complex data needs and digital transformation issues.
• Responsibilities include developing technology innovation plans and enhancements in various areas such as model-based system engineering, relational data architectures, data modeling, data integration processes, ETL development, report/dashboard creation using visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Power BI), data analytics platform design, development, testing, and machine learning/statistical analysis.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree and at least 8 years of related experience are required for this position.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL databases, including MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with leading visualization technology platforms such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI is also required.
• The ability to work independently and a willingness to learn new technologies, techniques, processes, software languages, platforms, and systems is essential.
• Candidates should possess the expertise to provide unbiased advice, analyze programs, and make recommendations across a wide spectrum of issues.
• A passionate, goal-driven, team-oriented, and outgoing personality is preferred.
• Flexibility, self-starter attitude, and the ability to operate effectively in a client-facing environment with ambiguous and evolving objectives are necessary.
• Effective communication skills are required.
