The ideal candidate will have experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
Responsibilities include managing, optimizing, and ensuring the high availability and security of our database environments.
Experience with implementing auto or manual failover, DNS management, and load balancing solutions is crucial for this role.
Experience with databases like ClickHouse, Redshift, Microsoft SQL Server, and MongoDB is a significant plus.
You will play a key part in building and maintaining a robust and scalable data infrastructure that may encompass both relational and non-relational database systems.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Significant experience as a Database Administrator, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL and MySQL is necessary.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and routine automations is expected.
Proven experience with configuration management tools, preferably Ansible, is required.
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash and Python are essential.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform is mandatory.
Experience with database monitoring tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana, is required.
A solid understanding of Linux operating systems is necessary.
Experience implementing and managing load balancing and auto-failover solutions for database systems is crucial.
