Remote Senior Database Engineer

Description:

• Enroute is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their growing data team.
• The role involves creating, automating, and maintaining robust data pipelines.
• Candidates will work with large and complex datasets and integrate data from multiple sources.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Spark/PySpark are required.
• Deep experience with AWS cloud services for data processing, including Glue, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and ECS, is necessary.
• Proficiency in SQL and Bash scripting is essential.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies like Docker is required.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git is necessary.
• Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouses is required.
• A solid understanding of data integration, ETL best practices, and large-scale data processing is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are necessary.
