Fullscript is seeking experienced Senior Ruby Engineers to enhance their platform that supports over 100,000 healthcare practitioners and 10 million patients.
The role involves building a Ruby on Rails back-end and a GraphQL API, with a front-end utilizing React, TypeScript, and Apollo.
Responsibilities include planning solution designs, implementing business logic for the e-commerce platform, building and maintaining integrations with external services like Stripe and Avatax, and developing an internal API for other teams.
The position also requires solving performance issues, contributing to technical improvements, maintaining quality standards, and participating in code reviews and mentorship.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails and a passion for software engineering.
A solid understanding of the value of writing tests and a desire to learn and accept feedback are essential.
Familiarity with design patterns and clean code practices is required.
Experience in mentoring or coaching junior engineers is necessary.
Bonus qualifications include experience with high-scale web applications, e-commerce or health-tech sectors, React or similar technologies, and GraphQL.
