The company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of on-premises infrastructure and applications.
This hands-on role focuses on automation, monitoring, incident response, and operational excellence, including participation in an on-call rotation for critical systems.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in infrastructure tooling, container platforms, and observability technologies.
Responsibilities include maintaining and scaling on-premises infrastructure, automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration, defining and implementing observability standards, managing containerized environments, monitoring system health, responding to incidents, participating in Agile sprints, and documenting processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with microservices architecture.
Strong experience with on-prem infrastructure and system operations is required.
Hands-on expertise with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform is necessary.
A solid understanding of monitoring and logging systems like Splunk/ELK is essential.
Candidates should possess scripting abilities in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Familiarity with networking concepts, including load balancers (NGINX), DNS, firewalls, and VPNs, is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required to effectively collaborate with global teams and document work clearly.
The position is eligible for remote work and can be based in either the UK or Spain.
