Cantina bots are lifelike social creatures that can interact wherever humans go online, offering scalable and personalized content experiences.
The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the design, deployment, and optimization of AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
This role involves collaboration with product and engineering teams to create scalable, secure, and cost-efficient systems.
The position offers high visibility, ownership, and the chance to shape the company’s DevOps strategy from the ground up.
Responsibilities include leading container-based microservices and serverless applications, building and managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, conducting security audits, enforcing cloud governance policies, and developing disaster recovery plans.
The engineer will also collaborate with stakeholders to assess requirements and deliver reliable solutions, while providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Requirements:
A BS or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
Strong experience in setting up, maintaining, and automating CI/CD systems is essential.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, is required.
Knowledge of managing and customizing monitoring tools like Datadog and Sumo Logic is necessary.
Fluency with source control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Git) and build systems (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Docker) is required.
Proficiency with AWS services such as Redis, OpenSearch, Aurora PostgreSQL, Redshift, MongoDB, EC2, and ECS is needed.
Candidates should be adept at scripting in Python, Bash, and Perl for infrastructure automation.
A proven ability to take ownership, lead projects, and influence engineering teams is essential.
