The engineer will utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and manage multiple environments to support the software development lifecycle.
The position requires setting up monitoring solutions to track cloud resources and applications, identifying cost optimization opportunities.
The engineer will architect multi-cloud deployment strategies for redundancy and disaster recovery.
Security automation practices will be implemented to enforce policies and ensure compliance.
The role includes designing secure secrets management solutions for sensitive credentials.
Continuous optimization of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes is expected to enhance performance and security.

Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the DevOps domain is required.
Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP with hands-on experience in cloud services is necessary.
A strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, subnetting, and routing is essential.
Knowledge of firewall configurations and security group management in cloud environments is required.
Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI is necessary.
Familiarity with security automation tools and practices in cloud environments is required.
Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and similar tools for infrastructure automation is essential.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration is required.
Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages are necessary.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities are essential.

Aerospike offers a competitive salary range for California-based applicants, between $190,000 and $210,000, with actual compensation determined by experience and location.
