  • The company is looking for a part-time freelance Senior DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of their cloud infrastructure and define their DevOps culture.
  • The role involves improving the AWS environment, automating CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system security, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Responsibilities include managing a multi-account, multi-region AWS infrastructure, driving CI/CD pipeline automation, leading Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy, enhancing monitoring and observability, championing security and compliance, collaborating with the development team, and managing a complex multi-tenant architecture.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS, and familiarity with serverless computing, relational/NoSQL databases, and virtual networking is required.
  • Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is necessary.
  • Proven experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins is essential.
  • A solid understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Docker, is required.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language, preferably Python, is necessary.
  • A proactive work ethic and a passion for ownership and project completion are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset are required.
