• The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud applications.
• The engineer will design and implement cloud infrastructure on GCP using services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Functions.
• Responsibilities include automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.
• The engineer will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and release management of cloud applications.
• Collaboration with development teams is essential to ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance on the cloud platform.
• The role also includes implementing and managing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and availability of cloud services.
• Continuous improvement of DevOps processes and practices is expected, leveraging GCP native tools and services.
• The engineer will provide technical guidance and support to teams for efficient utilization of GCP DevOps tools and services.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have over 4 years of strong experience as a DevOps Engineer, with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage, is essential.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager is required.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
• A strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI is needed.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, or ELK stack is important.
• Excellent scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby are required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues are essential.
