The DevOps Engineer will serve as the main point of contact for platform, infrastructure, and tooling needs within the engineering organization.
Responsibilities include managing, monitoring, and optimizing cloud infrastructure (AWS) for high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
The role involves developing and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, particularly Terraform.
The engineer will evaluate the current platform state, optimize tools and services, and build self-service options for engineering teams.
Incorporating modern methodologies such as CI/CD, Blue/Green Deployments, and automation into the development process is essential.
The engineer will partner with the internal infrastructure team to ensure security, compliance, and reliability while driving continuous improvement.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or in a similar role is necessary.
Proficiency and hands-on experience with the AWS cloud platform and services are required.
Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is essential.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions is required.
Familiarity with at least one JVM language is necessary.
A solid understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration platforms is required.
Experience with version control systems like Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket is necessary.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, or Sentry is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Kotlin, understanding of AWS Fargate and Kinesis, database management experience, knowledge of security tools and practices, and experience in a regulated industry.

The expected salary range for this position is $190,000 to $211,000, with the actual offer determined by qualifications, experience, and skillset.
