We invite a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to a large-scale data modernization effort for a major enterprise client.
In this role, you will support the migration and transformation of complex legacy data pipelines to a modern custom-built cloud environment for improved scalability, maintainability, and compliance.
You will apply DevOps best practices to build reliable infrastructure, drive automation, and support smooth deployments throughout the project.
You will collaborate with the Data Engineering team on migrating our data platform infrastructure to a centralized GCP Landing Zone.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining Terraform code for infrastructure deployment on GCP, setting up and supporting the custom-built GCP Landing Zone environment, and managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline the SDLC process.
Requirements:
You must have 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps.
You should have 3+ years of hands-on GCP experience building highly available solutions.
Advanced Terraform skills with 3+ years writing and maintaining custom modules are required.
Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and Helm, including building GKE from scratch, is necessary.
Solid CI/CD experience with Jenkins (Groovy pipelines) and GitHub integration is essential.
Proficiency in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, cloud networking, Cloud VPN, troubleshooting) is required.
Hands-on Linux administration experience is necessary.
You should possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with GCP native observability tools (Google Cloud Operations Suite) is required.
Proven on-prem-to-cloud migration experience is essential.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills are necessary.
An upper-intermediate+ English level is required.
