Provable is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to enhance the end-to-end stress-testing and benchmarking frameworks for the Aleo blockchain.
The role involves collaborating with protocol engineers to create adversarial testnets and codify attack-vector scenarios, including high-volume transaction storms, malicious clients, and network partitions.
The engineer will ensure the Aleo blockchain remains secure, performant, and cost-efficient while maintaining high uptime.
On-call support will be required, with a focus on swiftly resolving incidents and integrating lessons learned into test automation.
The ideal candidate should be crypto-native, comfortable with distributed-systems testing, and passionate about building robust infrastructure.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
A foundational understanding of blockchain concepts and experience contributing to or working on a blockchain project is preferred.
Proven experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure is necessary.
Proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash, Git, and GitHub workflows is required.
Experience handling on-call responsibilities is essential.
Familiarity with setting up and managing monitoring solutions is needed.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly under pressure, are important.
The ability to communicate complex technical ideas across teams is required.
An understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements is necessary.
