Join the engineering team responsible for developing and operating the Secure Remote Access platform for DT Technik.
The platform enables suppliers, partners, and internal colleagues worldwide to securely connect to DT Technik’s internal systems.
Play a key role in further developing the infrastructure, ensuring security compliance, and enabling automation across the environment.
Develop and maintain secure remote access infrastructure, including Linux, Windows, and containerized environments.
Automate processes using Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps principles.
Support the setup and improvement of test infrastructure and end-to-end monitoring.
Collaborate with a Scrum-based agile development team, managing and coordinating with application developers.
Ensure corporate security compliance in all infrastructure developments.
Provide last-level support for infrastructure and related applications.
Participate in sprint planning and deliver engineering tasks, focusing on engineering rather than daily operational activities.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Engineer with a transition to DevOps.
Ability to work in an agile (Scrum) environment and coordinate with development teams.
Strong communication skills and an open, collaborative mindset.
Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a nice-to-have.
Strong Linux administration skills.
Experience with automation using Ansible, including playbooks, roles, and configuration management.
Proficiency in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Basic Windows Server administration skills.
Advanced knowledge of networking and protocols, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Familiarity with Git as a version control system and GitOps workflows.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
Understanding of security requirements in infrastructure environments.
Basic knowledge of databases, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and load balancing technologies like HAProxy.
Optional skills include knowledge of the HashiCorp stack (Terraform, Consul, Vault), VMware and virtualization environments, Tufin, and German language skills.
