The role of Senior DevOps Engineer involves designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and applications on AWS public cloud environments.
Responsibilities include driving automation of infrastructure and platform services, architecting new solutions, managing continuous deployment, monitoring applications, and setting up performance alerts.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6-7 years of experience deploying and automating infrastructure in public cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
In-depth hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform is required.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments is necessary.
Familiarity with Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins or ArgoCD is essential.
Candidates should have experience with logging and monitoring tools for SaaS, such as Sumo, Splunk, or Datadog.
A solid understanding of how cloud-based web applications work and an interest in measuring, analyzing, and improving distributed systems is needed.
