Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

• The role is for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Operations squad.
• The candidate will build high-performance, scalable, mission-critical, and secure systems in the cloud using tools like Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Responsibilities include building and maintaining scalable systems, improving CI/CD processes, handling incidents, developing infrastructure as code, and automating deployment processes.

Requirements:

• The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, building and maintaining large-scale, distributed infrastructure environments in the cloud.
• Strong experience with Linux administration and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and TypeScript is required.
• Proven experience with Containers and Container Orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
• The candidate should have experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform, CDK for Terraform, or Pulumi.
• At least 1 year of experience building and maintaining services in GCP is required, along with experience in cloud infrastructure and services (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Previous experience with CI/CD processes and familiarity with Node.JS or Python is essential.
• A strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices is required.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational database models (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis) is necessary.
• Experience with ElasticSearch, LogStash, and Kibana, as well as Prometheus and Grafana, is a plus.
• The candidate should possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized, and have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
