EverOps is seeking a Senior DevOps & IT Operations Engineer who has expertise in infrastructure automation and hands-on experience in enterprise IT operations.
This hybrid role involves managing cloud infrastructure and improving endpoint management systems for Windows and macOS fleets.
The position is fully remote and based in the U.S., allowing for collaboration with a dynamic team of engineers.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining cloud infrastructure using automation tools, automating identity workflows, and managing client environments.
The engineer will work with tools like JAMF and Intune, expand the Mac software catalog, and participate in scrums to provide guidance and support.
Additional tasks include developing CI/CD pipelines, deploying applications across cloud environments, and automating user provisioning workflows.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, CloudOps, SRE, or hybrid IT/DevOps roles.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is required.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages like Python, Bash, Golang, or Ruby is necessary.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is essential.
Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Packer, or Chef is expected.
CI/CD expertise with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Argo CD is required.
Candidates should have working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, ELK, or Splunk is needed.
Candidates must have experience with Okta or similar identity providers, including application lifecycle and access policy automation.
Hands-on experience in scripting access workflows and automating IdP group management is required.
