As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating security practices into the DevOps pipeline.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure and security processes that ensure our applications are secure, scalable, and highly available.
You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to automate and streamline our operations and processes.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing security controls and processes in the CI/CD pipeline.
You will develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
You will manage and optimize AWS environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Implementing and managing container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS will be part of your role.
You will develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python.
Conducting security assessments and vulnerability management will be required.
You will collaborate with development teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the software development lifecycle.
Monitoring and responding to security incidents and threats will be part of your responsibilities.
You will perform regular audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to security policies.
Mentoring and guiding junior DevSecOps engineers will also be expected.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevSecOps or similar role is necessary.
Strong experience with AWS services and architecture is essential.
Proficiency in using GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines is required.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS is necessary.
Strong scripting skills in Python are required.
A solid understanding of security principles and best practices is essential.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is required.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
