Description:

• As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating security practices into the DevOps pipeline.
• You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure and security processes that ensure our applications are secure, scalable, and highly available.
• You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to automate and streamline our operations and processes.
• Key responsibilities include designing and implementing security controls and processes in the CI/CD pipeline.
• You will develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• You will manage and optimize AWS environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implementing and managing container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS will be part of your role.
• You will develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python.
• Conducting security assessments and vulnerability management will be required.
• You will collaborate with development teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the software development lifecycle.
• Monitoring and responding to security incidents and threats will be part of your responsibilities.
• You will perform regular audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to security policies.
• Mentoring and guiding junior DevSecOps engineers will also be expected.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevSecOps or similar role is necessary.
• Strong experience with AWS services and architecture is essential.
• Proficiency in using GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines is required.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS is necessary.
• Strong scripting skills in Python are required.
• A solid understanding of security principles and best practices is essential.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is required.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) is necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
