Cologix is seeking a talented and experienced Architect to lead the design process for cutting-edge data center projects.
The role involves managing the entire design process for data center construction projects, ensuring high-quality and efficient outcomes from conceptual development to project closeout.
Responsibilities include creating and controlling the design and construction Basis of Design and standards, ensuring compliance with design standards and building codes, and optimizing space utilization for customer leasing layouts.
The position requires collaboration with external consultants and design firms to maintain project alignment and quality.
The Architect will also engage with corporate executives to communicate project status and strategic initiatives, and manage workflow effectively to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution is required.
Candidates must be a licensed architect with 5+ years of proven experience in data center design and construction, totaling 10+ years of experience.
A strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems, and site requirements is essential, along with familiarity with traditional and current MEP systems specific to data center design.
Proficiency in current design technology and software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM is necessary.
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and delegate responsibilities to both internal and external staff is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, are essential for effective communication with external partners and internal teams.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to lead and work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, and the position is eligible for an annual bonus.
The salary range for this position is $185,000 - $225,000 USD.
