Delinea is seeking a Senior Director of Product Security to lead and execute Product and Cloud Security programs.
This role involves overseeing and maturing Delinea’s Product Security function and developing capabilities to secure product offerings.
The ideal candidate should be collaborative and customer service-oriented, aiming to integrate security seamlessly for developers.
Responsibilities include designing a Product Security operating model, setting team culture, partnering with Product Development, and enhancing security postures.
The role requires leading security architecture reviews, conducting security assessments, and identifying threats through threat modeling.
The Senior Director will establish Vulnerability Management and Penetration testing services, oversee project planning, and collaborate with internal teams.
This position reports to the CISO, is based in the US, and is fully remote.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive knowledge of the Product and Cloud Security threat landscape and industry best practices.
A proven track record in solving complex security issues using a risk-based approach is essential.
Experience in establishing Secure SDLC frameworks and evaluating DevSecOps programs is required.
Candidates should have experience in Agile development, Product Security, Application Security, and Cloud Security, with familiarity in technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Experience in recruiting, technical interview screening, and team development is necessary.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to influence stakeholders.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Candidates should have 12+ years of relevant experience in security, with 5 years in a leadership role preferred.
Minimal travel (<10%) is expected.
