  • CGS is seeking a dedicated Senior Discovery IT System Administrator for a full-time, executive-level position in the Legal department.
  • The role involves supporting various aspects of the company's portfolio, particularly in legal accounts.
  • The contractor will ensure the day-to-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools.
  • Responsibilities include administering and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure, as well as installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • The contractor will monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify solutions, and collaborate with vendors and developers to implement fixes.
  • Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies is a key responsibility.
  • The contractor will assist in technical architecture design discussions and liaise with vendors on behalf of OGC to address product issues.
  • Developing and providing training for end-users is part of the role.
  • General support, subject matter expertise, and advice on the use of electronic discovery tools and applications will be provided.
  • The contractor will reverse engineer and document the as-is architecture of existing legacy applications or systems.
  • Analyzing capabilities, interviewing, and collecting business requirements to translate them into technical requirements is expected.
  • Supporting discovery application integration/migration activities is part of the job.
  • The contractor will contribute to Knowledge Management databases by creating and improving technical knowledge articles.
  • Legal technology experience and knowledge of the EDRM are required.
  • The contractor will assist in the implementation of e-discovery tools such as Relativity, Veritas eDP, or other review platform applications hosted in the cloud environment.
  • Skills in supporting backend infrastructure, data migrations, application installation, management, and configuration are necessary.
  • The contractor must be able to install, operate, and manage Microsoft Server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022.
  • Proficiency in operating and managing cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, VMware, Azure servers, Azure Functions, and Azure API Gateways, as well as AWS EC2 servers, AWS Lambda, and AWS API Gateways, is required.
  • The contractor should also have the ability to operate and manage relational databases, MySQL, and/or SQL Server 2012 or higher.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess a Top Secret Clearance.
  • The position requires legal technology experience and knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022 is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience with cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
  • Skills in backend infrastructure support, data migrations, application installation, management, and configuration are necessary.
  • The ability to operate and manage relational databases such as MySQL and SQL Server 2012 or higher is required.
  • Strong analytical skills to interview and collect business requirements and translate them into technical requirements are needed.
  • Experience in developing and providing training for end-users is preferred.
  • Candidates should have the ability to monitor and test application performance and work with vendors to implement fixes.
