Remote Senior Energy Data Analyst

Description:

• EnergyHub is seeking a Senior Energy Data Analyst to join their utility data services team.
• The team focuses on providing customized analytics dashboards, analysis, and reports to electric utility clients.
• The role involves helping clients understand and improve their thermostat, electric vehicle, battery, and commercial/industry demand flexibility programs.
• Responsibilities include defining the scope of BI projects, estimating effort for client-initiated projects, and working with Snowflake data warehouse using SQL and dbt.
• The analyst will develop reports, dashboards, and data exports that meet client expectations for data quality and insightfulness.
• Collaboration with engineering and data science teams is essential to translate lessons learned into improved products and insights.
• The analyst will prepare high-quality reports for clients and develop dashboards for internal stakeholders.
• Participation in client meetings to discuss new projects, present results, and gather feedback is required.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience delivering high-quality analytics using SQL, Python, and BI dashboards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• A commitment to accurate data analysis and credibility is essential.
• A passion for enabling a carbon-free, distributed energy future is necessary.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with data transformation using Snowflake and DBT, familiarity with BI dashboard tools like Sigma, Tableau, and Power BI, and experience with data from energy efficiency or demand response programs in the electricity industry.
