Remote Senior Engineer - Full Stack

Description:

• As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at FundThrough, you will be instrumental in building the platform that powers fast, flexible capital for small businesses.
• You will work across the stack (front-end, backend, data, and embedded integrations) to deliver intuitive, scalable, and automated solutions aligned with FundThrough’s vision of growing its position as a capital access platform.
• This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical excellence, product empathy, and a strong execution mindset.
• You will work closely with product, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to ship high-leverage features and systems in a fast-moving, high-trust environment.
• You will build and own features across the stack (React/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Postgres, AWS) with a focus on high availability, scalability, and performance.
• You will contribute to automation-first development, from invoice verification to underwriting and cash application, with minimal human touch and high observability.
• You will drive the development of embedded experiences via Web Components and APIs used in partner platforms, enabling clients to access funding without leaving their workflow.
• You will champion modular platform architecture and support multi-tenant, API-first, event-driven systems designed for scale and external partner adoption.
• You will translate business and product strategy into clear technical scope and system design aligned with long-term automation and platform goals.

Requirements:

• You must have 5+ years of hands-on full stack experience in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and backend services in Python or similar.
• You should have a demonstrated ability to build scalable services in cloud-native environments (preferably AWS).
• A strong understanding of API design and frontend-backend integration patterns (e.g., BFF) is required.
• You must have experience working in high-trust, lean, cross-functional teams.
• Strong system design and data modeling skills are necessary.
• Familiarity with workflow automation, event-driven architecture, or financial platforms is a plus.
• Bonus points for experience with embedded finance, invoicing/payment systems, identity verification, or underwriting logic.
• A C1 English level is required.
