Remote Senior Engineer, PHP Drupal

Description:

• Nagarro is a Digital Product Engineering company that is rapidly scaling and looking for new colleagues.
• The position is for a Senior Engineer specializing in PHP and Drupal.
• The role requires a total experience of 3+ years in relevant fields.
• Responsibilities include writing and reviewing high-quality code, understanding functional requirements, and analyzing client needs.
• The engineer will envision overall solutions for defined requirements and determine design methodologies and tool sets.
• The role involves enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• The engineer will lead/support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production rollouts.
• Responsibilities also include creating and validating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and estimated efforts for tasks.
• The engineer must address issues promptly and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex bugs is a key part of the role.
• The engineer will conduct Proofs of Concept (POCs) to ensure that suggested designs and technologies meet requirements.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a total experience of 3+ years.
• Strong hands-on experience with Drupal 9/10 site building, theming, and module development is required.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, jQuery, and front-end integration is necessary.
• Experience with custom module development and extending Drupal core functionality is essential.
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based deployments is required.
• Exposure to Headless Drupal or decoupled front-end frameworks is preferred.
• Candidates must be capable of integrating with REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services.
• Familiarity with development workflows using Git, Composer, and Drush is necessary.
• An understanding of web security, performance tuning, and accessibility compliance (WCAG) is required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential.
