DGR Systems is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with experience in the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise networks.
The role involves leading the design and implementation of enterprise networks and providing support to the networking practice.
This is a client-facing position that includes pre-/post-sales responsibilities while acting as a technology professional.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, a self-starter, and team-focused with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities include leading technical discussions, designing and implementing network solutions, troubleshooting various network equipment, and maintaining technical deliverables.
The engineer will engage in peer reviews, perform root cause analysis of outages, and maintain industry certifications.
A strong understanding of routing protocols and advanced experience with Fortinet products is required.
The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with network solutions, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in network solutions is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience with network switches, firewalls, and wireless access points is required.
Professional or Expert level network certification is required, specifically Fortinet FCSS, Fortinet FCP, or Fortinet NSE 4-8.
Professional or Expert level network certification from Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, or Aruba is preferred.
Extensive experience in designing, configuring, and managing enterprise-grade firewall solutions is required.
Strong understanding of routing protocols and network technologies such as eBGP, iBGP, OSPF, and IPSEC is essential.
Expertise in LAN/WAN administration, including DHCP, DNS, VLANs, NAT, and wireless technologies, is required.
Proficiency in network security integration and Zero Trust frameworks is a bonus.
Ability to produce accurate network diagrams and detailed design documentation is essential.
Experience in architecting, designing, and troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN network solutions is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
The candidate must be willing to travel when needed.
