We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our Professional Services team at Squiz.
The role involves implementing the Squiz DXP, ensuring the technical solution is tailored to the client brand and content strategy.
This position is open to candidates across the West Coast of America with a hybrid working arrangement.
We are looking to hire and interview ASAP.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in front-end web development, specifically with JavaScript (preferably vanilla JS), HTML, and CSS, with an emphasis on 80% frontend and 20% backend (Node.js).
Experience in building commercial-grade websites, portals, intranets, etc., is required.
A strong knowledge of web fundamentals, HTTP methods, integration patterns, and RESTful APIs is necessary.
Candidates should have experience building web interfaces according to WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
Demonstrable experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential.
Experience in building component libraries/design systems is required.
Familiarity with headless CMS platforms or DXPs such as Contentful, Drupal, WordPress, Sitecore, and Optimizely is necessary.
A strong grasp of web performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility is required.
Candidates should be comfortable with build tools and bundlers like Webpack and Vite.
It is a plus to have experience working in a client-facing role, such as in consulting or a digital agency.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React is also a nice to have.
