You will work closely with backend engineers and MLEs to deliver the best AI support for customers.
Contribute to a scalable, interface-agnostic GenAI platform powering Canva’s user support.
Build and integrate frontend components for “Ask Canva.”
Deliver AI-driven solutions that delight users through collaboration with backend and ML engineers.
Iteratively improve frontend experiences to ensure fast, helpful, human-like assistance.
Present new ideas and tech opportunities to elevate Canva's AI help experiences.
Requirements:
Bring 5+ years of frontend engineering experience, with a proven ability to deliver complex products autonomously and at scale.
Have deep expertise in modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
Skilled at balancing speed and quality, knowing when to experiment, refactor, and ship.
Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with MLEs, designers, and backend engineers.
Excited about AI and LLMs, with confidence in building production-grade systems that integrate with them.
Enjoy mentoring others and raising the bar, with teammates valuing your code reviews and thought leadership.
