We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead our frontend architecture and drive a groundbreaking Embedded Analytics project.
This role involves shaping a platform that impacts science, health, and safety, defining our frontend philosophy, building a unified design system, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with design and product teams to create scalable, user-friendly UI systems.
Key responsibilities include architecting scalable, maintainable frontend systems using React, developing and implementing a design system with reusable components, leading the frontend development of a new Embedded Analytics initiative, creating onboarding documentation, promoting best practices in testing, performance, and accessibility, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with design and product teams to deliver production-ready experiences.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in modern frontend development, specifically with React, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
Expertise in building and maintaining large-scale frontend systems and reusable component libraries is required.
A deep understanding of architecture patterns, state management, and performance optimization is essential.
Strong communication and mentoring skills are necessary for this role.
A proactive problem-solving and ownership mindset is expected.
Extensive experience with Tailwind CSS, including utility-first design principles, responsive layouts, and semantic, accessible HTML is required.
Proven ability to implement or contribute to Tailwind-based component libraries and maintain consistency across large codebases is necessary.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000 per year, based on experience and location.
Variable pay of up to $9,500 per year is available, tied to product and architectural milestones.
