Remote Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

Description:

• Playson is a leading iGaming supplier founded in 2012, recognized worldwide for providing a high-end micro-service-based platform that processes billions of financial transactions daily.
• The company is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join the Platform Tribe and contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance web applications.
• The role involves working closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, product owners, and designers to deliver features that power Playson’s internal tools and partner integrations.
• Responsibilities include owning and leading the development of complex UI features and platform components using TypeScript and React, contributing to full-stack features using Node.js, and collaborating with other engineers to design scalable and performant solutions.
• The developer will also optimize for cross-browser compatibility and responsive UI, participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, and be part of the Playson Engineering Community.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• A strong understanding of how React works and how to manage application state using Redux and Immutable.js, as well as Redux-Saga for async operations, is required.
• Applicants should be ready to work hands-on with core frontend technologies, including Material UI, Ag-Grid, and highcharts.
• Experience in building production-ready, maintainable, and testable applications is essential.
• Familiarity with unit testing using Jest and React Testing Library (RTL) is required, and understanding of Enzyme is a plus.
• A good understanding of OOP and design patterns is necessary.
• Candidates should be familiar with Git, Jira, Confluence, and agile practices.
• Strong written and spoken English skills (upper-intermediate or above) are required.
• Familiarity with Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (especially AWS), Redis, DynamoDB, analytical databases like ClickHouse or Redshift, Kafka, and secure coding practices is considered a plus.
