This position is for a Senior Frontend Engineer at Webflow, available for remote work in Canada or the United States.
The role involves leading the development of fast, accessible, and scalable user interfaces that directly influence product growth, partner success, and user experience.
You will work cross-functionally with design, product, and backend teams in a remote-first environment that values innovation, autonomy, and tangible outcomes.
Responsibilities include building high-performance frontends using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js, leading feature development from concept to launch, and collaborating with backend engineers for full-stack solutions.
You will also introduce and maintain best practices in performance, scalability, accessibility, and system architecture, troubleshoot production issues, mentor fellow engineers, and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a frontend/UI engineer, with exposure to backend development.
Proficiency in advanced React/Next.js frameworks, JavaScript/TypeScript, and scalable CSS methodologies is required.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Playwright, or Cypress is necessary.
A deep knowledge of accessibility principles and their implementation is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable working in agile, fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical challenges into business value are required.
A passion for continuous learning, especially in emerging technologies like AI, is important.

The position offers a competitive base salary, with U.S. salary ranges from $132,050 to $207,100 depending on the zone, and CAD 171,000 to CAD 235,600 for Canada (BC & ON).
