Remote Senior Frontend Engineer (RemoteEquity)

Description:

• Remote is a company focused on solving global employment challenges, allowing businesses to manage international teams compliantly.
• The Senior Frontend Engineer will work with the RemoteEquity team, which manages equity-related services for customers.
• The team consists of 10 members across Europe, responsible for two products: a general equity distribution tool for all Remote customers and a premium product for equity managers.
• The tech stack includes a TypeScript React frontend, a TypeScript backend using GraphQL, and a Postgres database.
• Development workflows utilize GitLab for version control and CI/CD, Linear for issue tracking, and AWS for hosting, with automated deployment processes.
• The role involves leading major projects, participating in product development, suggesting improvements, and mentoring other engineers.
• The position is fully remote, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager of RemoteEquity.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have proven professional experience as a Frontend or Full-stack Engineer, including building and maintaining feature-rich software projects.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript is required, along with knowledge of semantic HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, Postgres, and CI/CD processes is necessary.
• Candidates should be able to handle ambiguity and translate abstract concepts into functional software.
• A strong ability to work independently and a willingness to learn and develop are essential.
• Fluency in English is required, and remote work experience is a plus.
