  • As a Frontend Engineer, you will craft seamless, user-friendly interfaces that empower businesses to explore, deploy, and leverage cutting-edge analytics apps.
  • You will build and maintain user interfaces for Seek’s app store and ML cloud platform using React and TypeScript, delivering high-performing, responsive, and accessible experiences.
  • You will customize and implement UI components using styled components to create consistent, user-friendly designs that align with branding guidelines.
  • You will collaborate with backend engineers to seamlessly integrate APIs, ensuring smooth data fetching and state synchronization.
  • You will optimize frontend performance by reducing load times, minimizing bundle sizes, and delivering a smooth, responsive user experience.
  • You will partner with UX/UI designers to translate mockups into functional, intuitive user interfaces.
  • You will participate in code reviews, sharing and receiving feedback to enhance code quality and team collaboration.
  • You will actively contribute to sprint cycles by providing accurate estimates, updates, and technical insights that shape the development process.

Requirements:

  • You must have 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React and TypeScript in enterprise production environments.
  • You should have proven expertise in using styled components to create scalable, customizable UI components.
  • You need in-depth knowledge of state management libraries to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend build tools like RSBuild, ESBuild, Webpack, and Babel is required, as well as experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Vitest.
  • You must have experience working with Git for version control and proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab CI.
  • Strong expertise with state management libraries, especially Recoil, and API integration using Axios is necessary.
  • You should possess strong problem-solving skills and a track record of troubleshooting and optimizing frontend performance.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement, is essential.
