Powster is a Creative Studio based in London and Los Angeles, specializing in creating interactive digital experiences and marketing campaigns for major movie studios, broadcasters, music artists, brands, and streamers.
The company is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the MX team to bootstrap digital services and platforms using the Powster ReactJS/NodeJS/AWS technical stack.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to challenge frontend skills with significant leadership and project ownership across clients in the movie and music industries, including Universal, Disney, Twitch, Netflix, and Sony Pictures.
Responsibilities include leading feature development for web builds, collaborating closely with Production teams from idea conception to delivery, and owning the complete development lifecycle from development and QA to project activation.
The Senior Frontend Engineer will mentor and coach 1-2 Frontend Engineers and manage the serverless, static sites delivery system (React + AWS).
The role involves representing technical excellence in front of industry leaders and supporting peers from Production and Sales teams.
The ideal candidate should enjoy teamwork, embrace challenges, and stay updated with modern coding practices.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer in web front-end development is required.
Candidates must be comfortable with the JavaScript environment, specifically Node.js and React.
The ability to navigate between Backend and Frontend architectures is essential.
Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, preferably AWS, is necessary.
Strong communication skills are a must.
