Remote Senior Full-Stack / Backend Engineer (Contract, Remote)

Description:

• INFUSE is seeking a startup-savvy Senior Full-Stack / Backend Engineer with a strong MVP mindset and proven experience in building scalable, maintainable systems with extensive integration work.
• This is a project-based contract focused on delivering an internal product that is primarily backend-driven (80%) with some frontend responsibilities (20%).
• The internal product will feature well-designed, robust APIs that enable seamless integration with other systems, built for scalability and ease of maintenance by future teams.
• Key responsibilities include developing backend APIs and databases that are scalable and maintainable, integrating and managing third-party APIs for seamless data flow, building frontend components that deliver responsive UIs with modern frameworks, analyzing data and building efficient data pipelines (preferred but not mandatory), driving the full product lifecycle from MVP through scalable production release, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in backend development, API design, and database management is required.
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with frontend technologies and frameworks at a mid-level or higher is necessary.
• Experience with data analysis and pipeline construction is a plus.
• Candidates should be skilled in modern development tools and AI-assisted coding (e.g., Cursor, Copilot).
• Prior experience in data/web scraping, MarTech, or SalesTech is highly desirable.
• A strong architectural mindset focused on scalability, maintainability, and clean integration points is essential.
• The tech stack is flexible; current systems include Python, PHP (Laravel, Symfony), React, or Vue, hosted primarily on AWS.
• Proficiency in Ukrainian/Russian is required, along with fluent English (upper-intermediate or higher).
• Personal attributes should include being self-motivated with strong organizational skills and being a problem-solver who thrives on complex challenges.
