The developer will collaborate directly with the CTO and a small team of engineers, taking initiative to address issues without waiting for permission.
Responsibilities include building, scaling, and maintaining full-stack applications using React.js and Python, designing backend services and APIs, and managing services across AWS.
The developer will own features from design to delivery, identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and participate in code reviews to maintain high technical standards.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5 years of full-time engineering experience.
Strong skills in JavaScript/React and Python are required.
Experience with AWS cloud services is necessary.
Proficiency in RESTful API design and third-party integrations is expected.
A bias for action is essential; candidates should take initiative and not wait for direction.
A proven track record of autonomous problem-solving is required.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with serverless architecture, familiarity with LLM APIs or machine learning workflows, and prior experience in early-stage, fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including tools like Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence, is also a plus.
