Remote Senior Full-stack Engineer (Firebase)

Description:

• We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a high-velocity product and engineering team.
• In this role, you'll work directly with leadership to architect and ship scalable features across a modern tech stack, with high impact and visibility.
• You will play a key role in improving user growth and retention, collaborating cross-functionally to bring new features to life and support a growing base of hundreds of thousands of users.
• Key responsibilities include owning and shipping major features across the React + Node.js codebase, rapidly prototyping, testing, and iterating on new product ideas, and architecting clean, modular, scalable solutions using Firebase and GCP.
• You will build integrations with partners like Stripe, TransUnion, and Home Depot, collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to enhance the user experience, and review code while mentoring teammates to support team velocity and code quality.

Requirements:

• You must have 6+ years of experience developing with Node.js and React (Redux, Tailwind) in serverless environments like Cloud Functions or AWS Lambdas.
• Solid NoSQL infrastructure experience with Firebase (Realtime DB, Auth, Cloud Functions) is required.
• You should have experience designing and maintaining large-scale, serverless architectures.
• Strong knowledge of writing clean, testable, modular code is essential.
• The ability to work independently on major features with minimal supervision is necessary.
• A team-oriented mindset and openness to feedback are important.
• You should have enthusiasm for mentoring others and contributing to a positive engineering culture.
• Experience in Proptech, Fintech, or with payment systems is a nice-to-have.
