The company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their Power Rangers "superhero" team, which focuses on building transformative features for end users.
This role is hands-on and involves turning ambitious visions into reality, working on user-facing projects that leverage cutting-edge technologies including AI and LLMs.
The engineer will be part of a small, agile team of 3-4 engineers building features that directly impact educators and students.
Responsibilities include building end-to-end solutions from React/TypeScript frontends to GoLang backend services, leading project initiatives, and optimizing existing systems.
The engineer will collaborate closely with small teams to deliver impactful features and contribute to technical decisions around architecture and implementation.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise in GoLang is required, with the ability to design, build, and maintain backend services.
Proficiency in modern React and TypeScript is necessary, along with an understanding of current patterns and best practices.
Experience with various state management patterns and the ability to apply different approaches is essential.
Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, including Lambda, ECS, RDS, and containerized applications (k8s) is required.
Database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis is necessary.
Candidates should have CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
A full-stack mindset with a willingness to work across the entire technology stack is expected.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $185,000 a year, depending on geographic location, prior experience, seniority, and demonstrated ability during the interview process.
