Responsibilities include building scalable software, contributing across the stack from React frontends to Node.js/TypeScript APIs, participating in code reviews, collaborating with product and design teams, modernizing existing architecture, writing tests, taking ownership of the development lifecycle, and understanding the full system.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building software in production environments.
A minimum of 3+ years working with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React is required.
A solid understanding of cloud services, preferably AWS, with Azure experience as a plus.
Experience with front-end tools such as React Router, Tailwind CSS, Remix, and accessibility libraries like React Aria is necessary.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform is a plus.
Strong fundamentals in software engineering, including clean code, performance, and testing, are essential.
Candidates should be able to work across the stack, even if they have a stronger area of expertise.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines are required.
An ownership mindset and eagerness to improve product and engineering practices are important.
