Remote Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Risk Experience

Description:

• Mercury is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for the Card Fraud and Disputes Team.
• The role involves building seamless experiences for customers and empowering the internal Risk Operations team with efficient tools.
• The engineer will take ownership of projects from ideation to deployment, mastering the domain and technical implementation.
• Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining backend APIs and front-end user interfaces to ensure systems are seamless and scalable.
• The engineer will create and review technical design documents and API specifications, contributing to architectural decisions and system design.
• Collaboration with product managers, designers, and risk operations stakeholders is essential to deliver impactful solutions.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 3-7+ years of demonstrated full-stack experience at a senior level or higher, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Experience in independently driving projects from inception to completion is required.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Redux is preferred, or a willingness to learn them.
• Experience with backend technologies including Haskell, Yesod, Persistent, and Postgresql is also preferred, or a willingness to learn them.
