Mercury is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for the Card Fraud and Disputes Team.
The role involves building seamless experiences for customers and empowering the internal Risk Operations team with efficient tools.
The engineer will take ownership of projects from ideation to deployment, mastering the domain and technical implementation.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining backend APIs and front-end user interfaces to ensure systems are seamless and scalable.
The engineer will create and review technical design documents and API specifications, contributing to architectural decisions and system design.
Collaboration with product managers, designers, and risk operations stakeholders is essential to deliver impactful solutions.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3-7+ years of demonstrated full-stack experience at a senior level or higher, with a strong sense of ownership.
Experience in independently driving projects from inception to completion is required.
Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Redux is preferred, or a willingness to learn them.
Experience with backend technologies including Haskell, Yesod, Persistent, and Postgresql is also preferred, or a willingness to learn them.

The target new hire base salary ranges for this role are $166,600 - $208,300 for US employees and CAD 157,400 - 196,800 for Canadian employees.
