Remote Senior Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Engineer

Description:

• We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Engineer to lead the development of our analytics dashboard.
• You’ll design, build, and maintain Rails APIs, background jobs, and database schemas that power data-rich React components and interfaces.
• You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, front-end developers, and infrastructure to rapidly push new features from ideation to production.
• This is a hands-on role with plenty of scope to influence architecture, user experience, and coding standards.
• While we’re targeting senior engineers, we’re open to strong mid-level candidates who demonstrate leadership, ownership, and a passion for full-stack craftsmanship.
• We're a small engineering team looking to grow and are a remote-only organization with most of the engineering team working from US timezones.
• We aim to help mobile app developers make data-driven decisions about their marketing in a secure, privacy-centric, user-friendly way.
• We encourage flexibility in working locations and hours but also ensure we all overlap at least briefly for a bit each day.

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in Ruby on Rails (typically 5+ years) is required.
• Proficiency in ReactJS (typically 3+ years), along with a strong foundation in JavaScript and TypeScript, is necessary.
• Experience integrating front-end components with Ruby on Rails backends is essential.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs is required.
• Familiarity with Git and hosting platforms like GitHub is necessary.
• Excellent organization and communication skills are a must.
• An appetite for learning, problem-solving, and contributing to a dynamic team environment is essential.
