Plotly is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer- AI to create tools that empower people to tell better stories with data.
The role involves working on the next generation of AI data science tools, utilizing LLMs and cutting-edge AI architectures to streamline data science analysis.
The engineer will develop the Plotly Studio product to be the best AI-driven data analytics platform on the market.
Responsibilities include leading the design and development of new AI-powered features, optimizing data processing techniques, and collaborating with product managers and designers.
The engineer will evaluate and integrate new AI technologies, stay updated on advancements in AI and machine learning, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
The position requires writing clean, maintainable, and type-safe code, participating in code reviews, and continuously optimizing workflows.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience is required.
Proven experience as a senior or staff engineer building user-facing applications with a focus on data analytics or AI is essential.
In-depth understanding of AI concepts, frameworks, and tools is necessary.
Familiarity with data science workflows and efficient handling of large datasets is required.
Expertise in Python, React, and SQL is mandatory.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A dedication to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code is expected.
