As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer on the Plotly Studio team, you will work on the next generation of AI data science tools.
The role involves working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced AI architectures to streamline data science analysis for users.
Responsibilities include laying the groundwork for a sophisticated AI desktop application, leading the design and development of new AI-powered features, and researching cutting-edge Agentic AI technologies.

Staying updated on AI advancements and providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members are also key aspects of the role.
Writing clean, maintainable, and type-safe code is essential, along with participating in code reviews and debugging.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience is required.
Proven experience as a senior or staff engineer in building user-facing applications with a focus on data analytics or AI is necessary.
An in-depth understanding of AI concepts, frameworks, and tools is essential.
Familiarity with data science workflows and efficient handling of large datasets is required.
Expertise in Python, React, and SQL is mandatory.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
