Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 8 years of hands-on experience in engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years of people management experience is required as part of the engineering tenure.
  • Experience with engineering tech stacks, including microservice backends, webhooks, and APIs, is necessary.
  • A strong JVM background, including Kotlin and a low-level understanding of relevant concepts, is essential.
  • Knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot is required.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Frontend frameworks is necessary.
  • Candidates should have knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with highly concurrent applications is required.
  • A track record with DevOps and SRE best practices is essential.
  • Candidates should be prepared to spend about half of their time contributing directly by writing code and improving systems.
  • The ability to make correct deductions from limited or imperfect information is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to drive collaboration and align cross-functional teams, are required.
