Description:

  • We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Payments and Checkout team.
  • The role involves developing and maintaining both customer-facing and internal account and billing systems.

  • This position is remote, available to candidates anywhere in the US.
  • Responsibilities include developing consumer subscription features using Recurly, building tools to support internal teams, and architecting and maintaining billing, user management, and API systems.
  • You will collaborate closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and key stakeholders to design, implement, test, and deploy solutions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years of full-stack engineering experience is required.
  • Strong proficiency in modern technologies including TypeScript, Node.js, and PHP is necessary.
  • Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured datasets is essential.
  • Proven experience with distributed systems architecture is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams is necessary.
  • Preferred qualifications include frontend development experience with React and Next.js, backend development experience with Nest.js, experience working in a Turborepo monorepo environment, and a track record of designing and implementing internal/external APIs.
