Requirements:
Candidates must have experience building systems involving messaging and/or event-driven architectures.
A deep technical understanding of at least one of Core Java and Golang is required, with a willingness to work with both.
Strong handling of concurrency challenges and the ability to design effective solutions is essential.
A strong commitment to Agile/Lean values is necessary.
There should be a heavy emphasis on code testing and designing for testability.
Candidates must demonstrate maturity and aptitude to operate in a high-freedom/high-responsibility environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills are required.
Experience with tech operations, supporting, and troubleshooting large systems is necessary.
Exposure to devops automation tools such as Chef or Ansible is preferred.
Familiarity with IAAS platforms such as AWS EC2 or Rackspace is required.
Experience with Apache Cassandra, Hadoop, or other NoSQL databases is necessary.
Involvement in an open-source community is a plus.
